Amader™ Health & Safety Policy

1. Policy Statement

Amader™ is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and hazard-free working environment for all employees, workers, visitors, suppliers, and partners.  
We believe that health and safety are core values, not optional practices.

We comply with all applicable Bangladesh labor laws, food safety regulations, and occupational health & safety standards, and continuously improve our safety performance.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

• All Amader™ employees (permanent, contractual, temporary)
• Factory & food processing units
• Warehouse, logistics & transport operations
• Office & call center operations
• Visitors, vendors, and third-party service providers

3. Management Responsibilities

Management shall:

• Ensure a safe working environment
• Provide proper tools, PPE, and safety equipment
• Conduct regular safety training and awareness programs
• Identify hazards and take preventive actions
• Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents
• Enforce compliance with this policy

4. Employee Responsibilities

All employees must:

• Follow safety rules and SOPs at all times
• Use PPE (gloves, masks, hair nets, shoes, etc.) properly
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or injuries immediately
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene
• Avoid unsafe acts or behavior

5. Workplace Hygiene & Food Safety

Amader™ strictly follows food safety and hygiene standards:

• Mandatory hand washing and sanitization
• Use of clean uniforms, gloves, and hair covers
• No smoking, chewing, or eating in production areas
• Regular cleaning and sanitization of equipment and surfaces
• Safe storage of raw materials and finished goods

6. Fire Safety & Emergency Preparedness

• Fire extinguishers placed at designated locations
• Emergency exits clearly marked and kept unobstructed
• Regular fire drills and evacuation training
• First aid kits available at all sites
• Emergency contact numbers displayed prominently

7. Equipment & Machinery Safety

• Only trained personnel may operate machinery
• Machines must have safety guards in place
• Electrical systems must be properly maintained
• Lock-out / Tag-out procedures followed during maintenance
• Unsafe equipment must not be used

8. Transport & Logistics Safety

• Drivers must hold valid licenses
• Vehicles must be road-worthy and regularly inspected
• Safe loading and unloading practices
• Compliance with speed limits and traffic laws
• No overloading or unsafe transport practices

9. Incident Reporting

All accidents, injuries, or near-miss incidents must be:

• Reported immediately to supervisors
• Recorded properly
• Investigated to prevent recurrence

10. Policy Review

This policy will be:

• Reviewed annually
• Updated as required by law or operational changes
• Communicated to all employees regularly

আমাদের™ স্বাস্থ্য ও নিরাপত্তা নীতি (Health & Safety Policy)

১. নীতিমালা ঘোষণা

আমাদের™ সকল কর্মী, শ্রমিক, দর্শনার্থী, সরবরাহকারী ও অংশীদারদের জন্য একটি নিরাপদ, স্বাস্থ্যসম্মত ও ঝুঁকিমুক্ত কর্মপরিবেশ নিশ্চিত করতে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।

আমরা বিশ্বাস করি— স্বাস্থ্য ও নিরাপত্তা কোনো বিকল্প নয়, এটি একটি মৌলিক দায়িত্ব।

আমাদের™ বাংলাদেশ শ্রম আইন, খাদ্য নিরাপত্তা আইন এবং পেশাগত স্বাস্থ্য ও নিরাপত্তা সংক্রান্ত সকল বিধি মেনে চলবে।

২. প্রযোজ্যতা

এই নীতিমালা প্রযোজ্য হবে:

• সকল স্থায়ী, অস্থায়ী ও চুক্তিভিত্তিক কর্মীদের জন্য
• উৎপাদন ও খাদ্য প্রক্রিয়াজাত ইউনিট
• গুদাম, পরিবহন ও লজিস্টিকস
• অফিস ও কল সেন্টার
• দর্শনার্থী ও তৃতীয় পক্ষের সেবাদানকারীদের জন্য

৩. ব্যবস্থাপনার দায়িত্ব

ব্যবস্থাপনা নিশ্চিত করবে:

• নিরাপদ কর্মপরিবেশ
• প্রয়োজনীয় PPE ও সুরক্ষা সরঞ্জাম সরবরাহ
• নিয়মিত নিরাপত্তা প্রশিক্ষণ
• ঝুঁকি শনাক্ত ও প্রতিরোধমূলক ব্যবস্থা
• দুর্ঘটনা তদন্ত ও প্রতিকার
• নীতিমালার কঠোর প্রয়োগ

৪. কর্মীদের দায়িত্ব

সকল কর্মীকে:

• নিরাপত্তা বিধি ও SOP মেনে চলতে হবে
• গ্লাভস, মাস্ক, হেয়ার নেট ও জুতা ব্যবহার করতে হবে
• ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ অবস্থা বা দুর্ঘটনা দ্রুত জানাতে হবে
• কর্মস্থলের পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখতে হবে
• অনিরাপদ আচরণ পরিহার করতে হবে

৫. স্বাস্থ্যবিধি ও খাদ্য নিরাপত্তা

আমাদের™ কঠোরভাবে অনুসরণ করে:

• নিয়মিত হাত ধোয়া ও স্যানিটাইজেশন
• পরিষ্কার পোশাক ও সুরক্ষা সামগ্রী ব্যবহার
• উৎপাদন এলাকায় ধূমপান বা খাবার নিষিদ্ধ
• যন্ত্রপাতি ও পরিবেশের নিয়মিত পরিষ্কার
• কাঁচামাল ও পণ্যের নিরাপদ সংরক্ষণ

৬. অগ্নি নিরাপত্তা ও জরুরি প্রস্তুতি

• নির্ধারিত স্থানে অগ্নিনির্বাপক যন্ত্র
• স্পষ্টভাবে চিহ্নিত জরুরি বহির্গমন পথ
• নিয়মিত ফায়ার ড্রিল
• প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা বক্স
• জরুরি ফোন নম্বর প্রদর্শন

৭. যন্ত্রপাতি ও মেশিন নিরাপত্তা

• প্রশিক্ষণপ্রাপ্ত ব্যক্তি ছাড়া মেশিন চালানো নিষিদ্ধ
• সকল মেশিনে নিরাপত্তা গার্ড থাকতে হবে
• বৈদ্যুতিক সংযোগ নিরাপদ রাখতে হবে
• রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের সময় Lock-out / Tag-out অনুসরণ
• ত্রুটিপূর্ণ যন্ত্র ব্যবহার নিষিদ্ধ

৮. পরিবহন ও লজিস্টিকস নিরাপত্তা

• বৈধ লাইসেন্সধারী চালক
• নিয়মিত যানবাহন পরীক্ষা
• নিরাপদ লোডিং ও আনলোডিং
• ট্রাফিক আইন ও গতি সীমা মেনে চলা
• অতিরিক্ত বোঝা বহন নিষিদ্ধ

৯. দুর্ঘটনা রিপোর্টিং

যেকোনো দুর্ঘটনা বা প্রায় দুর্ঘটনা হলে:

• দ্রুত সুপারভাইজারকে জানাতে হবে
• রেকর্ড রাখতে হবে
• ভবিষ্যতে প্রতিরোধের ব্যবস্থা নিতে হবে

১০. নীতিমালা পর্যালোচনা

এই নীতিমালা:

• প্রতি বছর পর্যালোচনা করা হবে
• আইন বা কার্যক্রম পরিবর্তন হলে হালনাগাদ হবে
• নিয়মিত কর্মীদের জানানো হবে
